The Listening Post at GVSU
What is a Listening Post?
It is a safe space in which to share unhurried conversation; a place to be heard and accepted; a place to clarify thinking, consider options, express joy or sorrow, explore ideas; a place of warmth and friendship.
Purpose
Our purpose is to serve the GVSU community. We hope to establish connections with studens by being familiar faces at the same time and place every week during the scholastic year.
Location and times
Our table will be located in the Kirkhof Center Lobby on the GVSU Allendale campus. We will be there every Tuesday and Wednesday when classes are in session; beginning in September each year through April of the next year.
Some of the Resources that we used to train our Listeners.
